| Sept 2011 | Chris | I recently started bleeding and as I'd finished menstruating at least 10 years ago I knew there was something not right. I knew this was a sign of cancer of the womb or ovaries and fear tried to get to me and initially it did. I got an appointment with my G.P. and he referred me for an urgent gynaecological appointment. The bleeding continued for a week, and all that time I immersed myself in the truth of God's Word. The fact was, I was bleeding, but the truth of God's Word says, I am healed because Jesus' body was broken that I might be made whole. The whole time this was going on, there was a battle in my mind and I continually 'took God's Medicine' and spoke it aloud with conviction. The gynae appointment came just over two weeks later. I had a thorough examination, including scan and was told there was nothing wrong, everything looked very healthy! Praise the Lord! I want to thank God for seeing me through this, and thanks to the team at The Healing Rooms for praying ! For me. | May 2011 | Mary Bull | I had surgery for removal of thyroid gland in August 2010. That was followed by radio-active iodine therapy, which didn't work. I had to have further surgery to remove the lymph glands in the left side of my neck, in March 2011. I am currently half way through a series of 30 radiotherapy treatments. My testimony is that Jesus has been with me every step of the the way and that I have known the healing power of other peoples prayers. I have been to the Healing Rooms a number of times and have also received prayer cloths when I have been unable to attend in person. Knowing others are praying for me is incredible - I know God's everlasting arms are around me. This has come home to me lately, especially when I started radiotherapy. Lying flat on one's back to go into the machine, directly above one's head, carved into the ceiling tile, is a cross!! That cross apparently houses a laser, but to me it is another sign that Jesus is with me, and in the words of the song "And !at your cross I lay my burdens"!! Terrific way to go expectantly to treatment, Jesus is there waiting for me! Thank you to all the saints praying for me and for others - you may never know the comfort you bring, but I can assure you the person for whom it is intended feels and knows God is with them. Thank you so much | Apr 2011 | Sue | I went to the Healing Rooms with a lot of pain in my upper back due to tense muscles. This was affecting every thing I did and the way I moved and drove. I went for prayer on the Thursday and the pain reduced a lot. In the days that followed the pain had reduced a great deal and went completely a couple of days later. I also felt that all the tension had gone and I felt much better emotionally, concerning my mum passing away. Thank you Lord. |
